Camilla advises on the full breadth of family law including separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnerships, prenuptial agreements, financial settlements, international child abduction, leave to remove applications and other disputes involving children. She specialises in substantial and complex financial settlements often with an international dimension. She acts for entrepreneurs, businesspeople, private equity figures and footballers.
Camilla Baldwin studied at Cambridge University between 1985 and 1988 before qualifying as a solicitor in 1992. She worked at Kingsley Napley and Withers in London, where she built an outstanding reputation in family law.
In 2002, Camilla became one of the youngest judges in England and Wales, reflecting her exceptional legal expertise and standing within the profession.
Three years later, in 2005, she established Camilla Baldwin Limited, driven by her commitment to achieving outstanding results.
Alongside her practice, Camilla is deeply committed to improving access to justice. In 2020, she founded Not Beyond Redemption, a charity providing pro bono legal advice to mothers in prison and continuing to support them until their children reach adulthood. Working with a dedicated team of specialist family lawyers and volunteers, the charity helps mothers maintain and rebuild meaningful relationships with their children, ensuring they have access to the legal support needed to preserve these vital family connections.
Camilla is widely recognised as one of the leading family lawyers in the field. She is ranked Top Flight in the Spear’s Family Lawyers Index 2026, is featured in Tatler’s Little Black Book, and is recognised by Legal 500 as a Leading Partner.
An active contributor to the global legal community, Camilla has served on the Cambridge Forum’s Steering Committee for the Forum on International Wealth Disputes and has co-chaired the inaugural Cambridge Forum on International High Net Worth Family Law for the past three years. She is also a member of ALM’s Private Client Global Elite, and is a much sought-after speaker at international conferences, regularly sharing her expertise on complex cross-border family law, trusts and other private client matters, most recently in Europe and Bermuda.
