Camilla advises on the full breadth of family law including separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnerships, prenuptial agreements, financial settlements, international child abduction, leave to remove applications and other disputes involving children. She specialises in substantial and complex financial settlements often with an international dimension. She offers counsel to royalty, beneficiaries with trust assets and significant inherited wealth, as well as other medium to high net and ultra high net worth individuals.

Career

Camilla studied at Cambridge University between 1985 and 1988. She qualified as a solicitor in 1992 before joining Withers in London.

In 2002, Camilla became one of the youngest judges in England and Wales.

Camilla established the practice in 2005.

Camilla Baldwin started her charity Not Beyond Redemption in 2018. Not Beyond Redemption offers pro bono legal advice to these mothers whilst in prison and until their children come of age, ensuring they can access and maintain relationships with their children. They are a team of specialist family lawyers and volunteers who focus on helping to re-establish critical access and relationships between mothers and their children.

Camilla has been listed as one of the Top Ten Lawyers – Family and Matrimonial in the Citywealth Leaders List 2020.

Legal 500 (2019) has named Camilla as a Leading Individual in family law.

Camilla was named Inspirational Woman of the Year in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2018.

In the 2018 Citywealth Leaders List, Camilla has been named as one of the Top 10 Family and Matrimonial Lawyers.

Camilla was included in Spears 500 Top Recommended Family Lawyer in 2021.

Publications and Presentations

Camilla lectures worldwide including in Iceland, Versailles and Zurich. Most recently Camilla lectured at the International Bar Association Conference 2019 in London.

Camilla was elected to join the steering committee for the eminent Annual Forum on International Wealth Disputes, a prestigious ‘invitation only’ event attended by lawyers and trustees from all over the world who look after Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families.

In February 2018, Camilla was invited to attend the ConTrA Trusts in Litigation Conference in Iceland where she chaired a session about Nuptial Settlements for the purposes of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973.

Camilla is co-author of Model Letters for Family Lawyers and International Aspects of Family Law.

Camilla is a member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).

Camilla is a member of the Steering Committee for Cambridge Forum.

Camilla is the Founder and Trustee of Not Beyond Redemption, her charity that offers pro bono legal advice to mothers in prison to help them re-establish critical access and relationships between mothers and their children.

Camilla is also a Governor of Charterhouse School.
